juvenile Red-necked Phalarope found by Mike Ibbotson and Nigel Genn.
The bird fed actively along the northern edge of the reeds and at times at very close range.
On one occasion it landed on the sandy edge. It was harassed by Coots and gulls and eventually left the area mid-afternoon
and could not be relocated.
