16th Jan 12:30 (TI) 6 White fronted geese dropped in behind Swan Island and a single redhead Goosander

17th Jan (LI) 6 Snipe , good no’s of winter thrushes, Barn Owl and the return of the Barnacle Goose flock

18th Jan (AJ,RL) Velvet Scoter, Rock Pipit

19th Jan (MR) 6+ Snipe 2nd field, good no’s winter thrushes southside/west end, 6+ Water rail, Bittern on ice Decoy channel then flew into Decoy Bay 11:30, Rock Pipit KP/Swan island

20th Jan (MR) Peregrine over Decoy, Woodcock west end, Jay, GS Woodpecker

1 Drk Long-tailed duck – mobile and elusive, cracking bird a twat to see
