A decent few hours down Mere produced 7 Whimbrel north, 11 Arctic tern briefly then north, 1 Common tern, 2 Male 1 Fem Marsh Harrier, Peregrine and 2 Hobby. Whitethroat 1st and 2nd field and a Common Sand, with the highlight being a male Redstart found by Ade  (‘Gordon’ Bennett) around the KP putting green till 11ish at least.

After a soiree to South Landing to see the flycatcher, mid to late afternoon produced 8 Ad Little gull and a 1st summer bird on the Mere.

1st May – Wheatear (2nd field, TM), 30th April – Whinchat (1st field, L.Ball)
