3rd dec

Strong and bloody cold westerly blowing today, so a quick march into second field was required to scan through the wildfowl. The Slav still present along with drake and female pintail, r b merg and two whoopers. 25 pink feet circled and went north and a buzzard sat in little Texas (field west of the hide). Named little Texas by mere birders due to cracking views of red neck grebe from there a few years ago). Looks like the winter birding has begun, time to dust off the long johns.
