A warm southerly for the most part of the day produced 2 little egrets south, Hobby, Peregrine, 1 Blackwit, 1 Ruff, 1 Redshank, 56 Pink feet south, 3 Common Sand 1+ Ad Med Gull, 3 Little Gull. Bird highlight of the day however was the cracking juv Pectoral Sandpiper picked up around 1715hrs at the East End of the Mere still present at 1820hrs at least.     With George Bennet and Mike Jackson this afternoon. Had the Great White Egret flying up from Decoy then WNW over Wassand Hall at 16.26. Earlier flushed a Bittern from the west end. Pectoral Sandpiper still early evening off Swan Island with Ruff and Common Sandpiper.
